soapUI 1.7.6 has been released

eviware is happy to release soapUI 1.7.6 which is an intermediary release providing general functionality and UI improvements (on top of a bunch of bugfixes). Most Notable are:

* XQuery 2.0 support in assertions and property-transfers

* Apache CXF wsdl2java integration

* Default authentication settings on endpoint level
* Regular expression support in Contains/NotContains assertions

* Improved xml/groovy editors with line-numbers, find-and-replace, etc.

* Greatly improved project/workspace management

* Improved/laxed up MTOM support

* Global/System-property access in property-expansions

* Very preliminary and initial extension API

curl-loader version 0.43 released

version 0.43 delivers:
- shared IPs facility, which allows using of
a limited pool of client IP-addresses by
any number of virtual clients;
- random clients feature, which allows using
e.g. 100 clients to simulate a load of e.g.
1000000 clients by choosing client credentials
randomly;
- compilation, FTP, IPv6 bugfixes;

Mockrunner 0.4 has been released

This main release adds compatibility for Java 6 and Java EE 5. Changes include:

- Full JDBC 4.0 support including the SQL XML data type
- Full Servlet 2.5 and JSP 2.1 support
- Introduction of the JasperJspFactory which allows EL evaluation using the Unified Expression Language API
- Introduction of RuntimeAttribute to simulate scriptlets and EL expressions as tag attributes
- many small bug fixes

EJB 3.0 is not supported yet.

Marathon v 1.1 has been released

Marathon v 1.1 is released. This release updates the Jython package used V 2.2.

Marathon is a testing framework for GUI applications developed using Java/Swing. Marathon composes of recorder, runner and editor. The test scripts are composed of python code. Marathon focuses on end-user testing. One need not know Java or Swing to record test scripts using Marathon. Marathon is kept intentionally simple. The aim to produce test scripts that are readable by everyone on the project. This includes the developers, testers and the customers. Marathon is flexible and provides facilities to extend the functionality available through python scripts or through writing ones own component resolvers.

qaManager Second Beta Release is available!

qaManager is a web based application used for keeping track of Engineering and QA releases, resource allocations and related information effectively in QA Projects. qaManager installation is simple.

Powered by openXava,Java. It supports all major databases.

qaManager will continue to include new features in coming releases while improving the existing features.

phpBugTracker 1.0.2 has been released

phpBugTracker 1.0.2 has been released. This is maintenance release of phpBugTracker, based on patches submitted over the last year. phpBugTracker has been remarkably stable, but it is time for quick facelift.

TestLink 1.7.0 release - final test phase started

on 20070906 the 1.7.0 release has been released to be tested, before the official release, planned for 20070912.

curl-loader version 0.42 released

This is the bugfix stable version, which fixes:

- FTP load bug, where the opened FTP connections has been kept foreever even with FRESH_CONNECT=1 specified;

- compilation bug for linux distributions, where PAGE_SIZE not defined in asm/page.h

Added a detailed logging feature with -d command-line option

BugnuX 2007 released

BugnuX is the first linux distribution for software testing, that is also installable, packaged with useful Testing Tools to help testers and quality assurance personnel. Open source Tools for testing web application, Java, load and performance are provided by default. A stable version, BugnuX2007, has been released. The testing tools include marathon, jacareto, CurlLoader, among others.

The key features of this release are that the default Window Manager is Enlighenment 0.17. Yes, E17 is still in beta, but it has some very nifty features. Since it is in beta, also included is the latest stable version of Fluxbox, as an alternative.

The LiveCD also includes a firefox browser with some default addons pre-installed, like, Quick Locale Switcher, All-in-One Sidebar (AiOS), Ad-Block plus, and testing tools like Selenium, LiveHttpHeaders, and so on.

Another important addition is BugnuX has it’s own repository that is fully compatible with PCLinuxOS 2007. The repository contains packages of all the testing tools(marathon, jacareto, CurlLoader), and other useful packages like E17, OpenBox, FluxBox, Rox, idesk, etc. that can be used pclinuxos users too.
