SIPp 2.0 has been released

The SIPp contributors are happy to announce the availability of SIPp 2.0! Since 1.1rc8, many new features and fixes, as well as tons of performance enhancements, have been made. This is a major milestone for SIPp. Starting right now, several contributors will work to add a big set of new features and enhancements, especially to transform SIPp into the ultimate SIP benchmark tool.

curl-loader 0.30 released. 10K HTTP clients!

curl-loader stable version 0.30 released. Now the tool officially supports 10K and more simultaneously loading HTTP clients from a single process in hyper mode (commandline option -m0).

UnitTest++ 1.3 is released

UnitTest++ is a lightweight unit testing framework for C++. This version features several enhancements and minor bug fixes.

STAF Cron and Event Manager new releases

Software Test Automation Framework (STAF) has published new releases for two of its STAF services add-ons - Cron V3.2.2 and EventManager V3.2.2 are both available now.

TestLink 1.7 RC2 is released

TestLink is a web based Test Management and execution system. This release candidate 2 for the 1.7 version is a bug fixing and stability release.

First linux distro for software testers released

Bugnux is a complete Linux distribution that runs from a bootable CD and runs entirely in RAM. Bugnux contains an extensive set of Open Source software testing tools that can be used for functional and performance testing. Tools to test GUI applications and Firefox addons to aid in web application testing have been packaged. Virtually turn any PC into black-box testing device without installing any software. A set of stress and load testing tools that can be used to assist in testing performance of web applications are included.

VERIFY 2007 conference

VERIFY 2007 seeks presenters to discuss automated testing, security testing and general testing in a variety of different contexts. If you have a presentation that fits those categories the organisers would like to hear from you. The deadline for sending a presentation suggestion (title, abstract and bio) is May 30, 2007. Send an email to the respective track chairs with your presentation suggestion - see Verify 2007 site for details. You can also win a ticket to the event worth $850 by doing the online survey.

soapUI 1.7 final is released

The major improvements in 1.7 from 1.6 are mocking of Web Services directly from within soapUI, support for importing SOAP 1.2 bindings, new tool integration for JBossWS wsconsume, new tool integration for Oracle wsa.jar utility, improved WSDL-inspector, new SSL-inspection tab showing peer certificate information and much much more..

Mantis 1.0.7 Released

This is a maintenance release that includes 3 security fixes, a new logo, and IE7 compatibility fix. All users of previous versions of Mantis (0.x.x and 1.0.x) are encouraged to upgrade to Mantis 1.0.7.e.

csUnit 2.1.2 Released

csUnit is a unit testing framework for .NET languages such as C#, Visual Basic .NET, Visual J#, or Managed C++. Release 2.1.2 has been compiled and tested with .NET 2.0. It also contains an addin for Visual Studio 2005 (VS2005). The majority of the effort went into performance, usability and quality.
