Tool for Web Sites Testing

Hi there,

We are having to test a product which has to work on multiple websites. Any suggestions on how i can increase my testing effectiveness. The product has to run on around 200 sites for every release.

For Testing WEB applications.... use QTP and

For performance testing LoadRunner
are the best tools

As this was originally posted almost a year ago year a, I'm hoping it_nandini sorted his problem out..

But last time I checked QTP and Loadrunner were not open source?

Hi,

Well in this scenario i would like to know that your want to use open source tool or any other software to test your product.

i am like, as you mentioned that product is going to run on multiple web applications which you need to execute effective testing.

as consider me i suggest the Team System for Tester to test the product.

Have you looked at the links under the Testing Tools tab? There is a large selection of open source tools there, that may be of use?
