Im using HammerHead to do some load testing, and Im finding a significant difference between the amount of throughput I can get from HammerHead and what I get from a simple perl script. The extent varies, but in most cases Im getting twice the throughput from the perl script. The faster the queries are, the greater the discrepancy.

Has anybody else ever observed such a problem? All the documentation Ive been able to find is pretty minimal.
